Lombok – Oversea Actual Wedding Day

Saturday, March 30th, 2013

It’s so awesome to have such opportunity to shoot an oversea actual wedding day at Lombok and this is my 2nd time shooting an actual wedding day in oversea. Thanks to Mark & Alicia for the great hospitality & arranged us an awesome stay here.

I felt so excited when landed at Lombok International Airport and it took an hour plus to reach to this wonderful place called Jeevaklui Resort, which is 2 years old resort. Everything here is just perfect. The lighting, the ambience, the landscape design, the architecture and of course the nature itself.

Cliff & I cant resist to take as much photos as we can when we are free & relax today. Tomorrow will be their wedding day and we gonna have lots of fun & excitement with their friends & family here. Stay tune for their awesome wedding ya. Cheers

My Hang Zhou-Shanghai Vacation

Saturday, November 27th, 2010

I have a really great trip on last Sept 2010 to HangZhou & Shanghai. A group of us i.e. 6, 2 couple and 2 single lady & man, which had formed an awesome travel partners. We book the Airasia tickets last year and the initial plan was just to travel around Hangzhou & to visit the world expo in Shanghai. But there was a slightly change being made, that Xilas & Cathy decided to bring their wedding photographer to Hangzhou & Shanghai to have pre wedding session instead of shooting in KL. They said they want something special & different from others. What a great idea!

Well, Shanghai, a familiar place to me.Because my last position in Richina Inc S/B, was to travel extensively to Shanghai for work. But this trip was not visiting around Shanghai but to focus on the World Expo. Initial plan was to visit the World Expo 1 day but we ended visit there 2 full days and it’s very tiring. This world expo is truly amazing & awesome and one thing to describe is “BIG!!” This expo area is so big. We cant really finish all areas within 2 days. At first, I thought I would not be enjoying the expo but I truly experienced the whole process of waiting, walking, sight seeing, modern technology  and etc…This expo trip brought me a lot of feelings and memories and the next world expo will be at Milan in year 2015. Well, guess I would not miss it as well. Hopefully by that time, I would be able to bring my love one to travel together then. ;P

Guess what, there is one moment which I could never forget in Hangzhou. I walked the whole west lake!! YES!! I WALK!!! You know how big is the west lake? To walk a round the west lake could take more than 6-9 hours in a day without stop! And I was the stupiest guy that had made such silly thing. LOLx..On the first day at the west lake, all of us were walking a round the west lake and we shoot here and there and having lots of fun. But after 3 hours of walking, everyone seem tiring and decided to take the shuttle car from station to station till the end of the station. And there’s a shuttle car came and it only can fits 5 persons, so I decided to let them go first and I will go for the next shuttle car to go to the end of the station to watch the special show. Guess what, there was no shuttle car after theirs. Gosh~~I had been walking for 2 hours plus yet still no shutter car and so I keep walking. I walked to the end of the station and it’s 630pm.Luckily The west lake show is on 730pm. So tiring and I couldnt see them there. So I guess they had given up and went back to hotel. So I bought the show ticket myself then took my dinner at KFC alone. Well, things became amazing where I met them in the show and we were like…wow..ah keat is alive because they were worrying me, cause I don’t have roaming, cant see me at the station, dun know how to contact me and find me….but I’m here safely..thank god…lolx..

Well, I’m hoping for another trip next year. Wondering where should I go next year?? AUS? NZ? KOREA? or back to Taiwan??

Share some of the shots from Hangzhou & Shanghai, will post up the full set after I had done all the wedding album. Cheers

21.06.2009 – Hiking Day

Sunday, June 21st, 2009

Been planning to go Broga Hill for so long and just couldn’t make the decision when to go because of tight schedule. Thanks to Sis Li Shan for her effort to arrange such a wonderful hiking day with ORIX colleagues & Li Shan schoolmates.

I woke up at 4am this morning because we planned to meet up at church on 4:45am. It’s so tiring and I didn’t get enough sleep last night because I was shooting the community concert till 12am and it’s late when I got back home.

Reaching the peak around 7am and manage to see the sunrise. Guess what! I met my ex-coursemate i.e. Yon Hon, Chin Ann & Sky! What a co-incident! Nice meeting you guys back! Well, share some photos here.

My Angkor Wat Trip

Friday, May 8th, 2009

I have been to Angkor Wat on 19.02.2009- 23.02.2009 for a period of 5 Days 4 Nights. Our belove Ms. Esther collect all the information regarding Angkor Wat and she plan the itinery as well as arrange tour guide, accomodation for all of us. Thanks again.

I know this album has been pending for 2 months and I have edited the pictures finally. Not all, but some of my favourite pictures. Sorry about that.

This was a budget trip. I spent around RM1,100 for the whole trip, which includes accomodation, food, entrance fees and shopping. However, I enjoyed this amazing trip because I got the opportunity to visit the best pre-served temples which was built since 12th century. There are 150 temples in Angkor Wat. Out of them, only 40 plus temples are opened for tourist. After visited some of the temples, I have came to a conclusion, which the sturcture of the temples is the same except the decorations on the wall. :-) And that’s the reason why I didn’t snap much of the temples but the detail of the decorations. I would really say the decoration is awesome!

Besides, this was an unforgetable trip because one of our member i.e. Mr. Kee has been hospitalised for 3 hours on our last day of the trip. We suspect he might have taken too much of “Happy Pizza”. Yeap! It’s HAPPY PIZZA. Want to know more about the pizza? You better try it yourselves. On our last day of the trip, we were so worried that we might need to stayback if he is still yet to recover. Anyhow, we managed to come back as per schedule. Well, Share some of my favourite pictures.
